Full on the Eye

Full on the Eye by Bill Clinkenbeard and Ian Gilmour

Full on the Eye is a bold attempt by two parish ministers of the Church of Scotland to focus upon that vison of the Christian faith which could permit the church to recover its authentic role in a rapidly changing world.  The widespread breakdown in community is dealt with, along with the reasons for it.  In “Gaze of the One-eyed God” and “Fatal Attractions” the authors deal with the poser of the media.  In “Womb without a View” and “Hey Dad, we Shrank the Church” they analyse the introversion and ineffectiveness of the church.  In the final section of the book they present a new and radical vision of the church as a community capable of transforming the world.
